I was invited to become an art director on a project for Kaspersky. The task was not only to oversee the overall visual style and communicate the idea through scenes, but also to create characters. I prepared keyframes for the main scenes in full CG format. This allowed artists to start animating immediately with ready-made material. This approach saved time and money, as well as eliminating the need to find a suitable visual solution.
The first scene is an introductory part of our video. It should be not only active, but also vivid and exciting. I pay special attention to its content, carefully selecting content appropriate for the given topic. I then integrate the selected elements in a complex compositional structure that resembles a tunnel. This allows me to create dynamic and visually intensive prologue.
Within the framework of this project, a thorough analysis was carried out on a series of intermediary personnel, to which only members of the internal team had access. The materials used were used to determine the optimal visual solution for meeting the tasks and technical specifications.
The final frame with the main character of the video is a culmination that is the result of a multistage conceptualization process. To better understand the genesis of this visual element, we recommend familiarizing yourself with a series of intermediate sketches below. These sketches show the sequential development from an initial hypothesis to a final realization, enabling us to trace an artistic idea's evolution and transformation into a graphical representation..

The character development in the series finale was carefully crafted, presenting two different conceptual iterations. The team envisioned a character that embodied the essence of gaming culture. At first, a complex and militaristic design was conceived, but it proved impractical because of its overly aggressive aesthetic. Then, a revised design was created that closely resembled the visual style of the popular game Fortnite. This strategic shift aimed to appeal to the target audience by using the familiar visual language of modern gaming to enhance immersion and coherence.
In this context, we can get acquainted with early, not finalized concepts that were the basis for the process of finding a visual appearance of a character. These prototypes at the initial stages of development demonstrate the evolution of design decisions and allow us to track the dynamics of formation of the final image..
